Finally, a hard wearing sock yarn! Grit Sock is a custom blend of 70% Superwash Cheviot wool and 30% Nylon. The Cheviot breed of sheep was selected for this yarn due to its durable, hard wearing fleece, yet it is still soft enough for socks, mitts, or outerwear. This yarn is also an excellent choice for knitting home goods like pillow covers, handbags, dog sweaters, and stuffies. Each skein is approximately 100g with 415 yards.
